Onward Talent’s client Javon “Wanna” Walton, the 16-year-old boxing prodigy and actor, has made headlines by becoming the youngest athlete to sign with Jordan Brand.

Known for his role as Ashtray in HBO’s “Euphoria,” Walton’s journey from the boxing ring to the big screen has been remarkable. His recent signing with Jordan Brand marks a significant milestone in his career, reflecting his dual talents in both acting and boxing. Walton, who hails from Georgia, has an impressive boxing record with five Georgia state titles and 80 amateur bouts.

Despite his impressive acting success, including a role in Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy,” Walton remains committed to boxing, planning to turn professional at 18. His passion for the sport is evident, as he stated, “Boxing’s first. I love acting, but boxing has always been my priority”. The partnership with Jordan Brand includes the development of a new boxing boot, inspired by designs worn by legends like Roy Jones Jr. and Andre Ward.

Walton’s collaboration with Jordan Brand began after his appearance in a Travis Scott x Air Jordan campaign, which led to discussions about his potential as a brand ambassador. Walton’s father, DJ Walton, a boxing trainer and founder of Onward Athletics, has been instrumental in his son’s training since the age of four.

Their viral appearance on Steve Harvey’s show showcased Javon’s exceptional hand speed and charisma, traits that have contributed to his success both in the ring and on screen. As Walton continues to rise in both the boxing and entertainment worlds, he remains grounded by the advice to “stay humble and hungry.” His future with Jordan Brand is promising, with potential collaborative apparel and a custom logo teased in his announcement video .

We’re excited to see where this young man’s career takes him, but one thing is certain, you will see him soon!
